About our Library

Marlborough Girls' College has a vibrant library which is open every school day until 4pm in the afterlibrary groupnoon.  Librarian Mrs Colleen Shipley is assisted by Lianne Darry and a team of librarians led by Tess Landon-Lane.  The role of the student librarians is to help issue books, tidy the shelves and help with displays.

The aim of the library is to foster an appreciation of books, a love of reading and create an environment conducive to research for students.  Assistance finding resources both from online databases as well as from books is provided.

Additional services offered by the library include laminating, photocopying and printing.
