NCEA Level 1
A total of 80 credits which include eight credits for literacy and eight credits for numeracy are needed for Level 1. National Education Guidelines require all Year 11 students to study English and Mathematics. If students choose to go to university they must achieve 14 credits in Level 1 Mathematics.
NCEA Level 2
A total of 80 are needed for Level 2. 20 of these credits can come from Level 1. If a student chooses to go to university, she must achieve four credits in writing and four credits in reading.
NCEA Level 3
A total of 80 credits, 20 of which can come from another level are needed for Level 3. For girls choosing to go to university, they need 14 credits at Level 3 for two approved subjects and 14 credits at Level 3 from no more than 2 domains or approved subjects.
