Scholarship Information

There are hundreds of Scholarships available to help you with your Tertiary study! They are not just available to the top scholars so check them out!!

MGC pays a subscription fee to the Breakout website (www.breakout.org.nz).  Log on to any school computer in the usual way, then type in the web address into Internet Explorer. This facility is also available at the Blenheim town library.

Each University and Polytechnic offer Scholarships and Grants so search their websites for their Scholarships section.

First year fees paid for full-time study at any of the following institutions:
• CPIT
• Lincoln University
• University of Canterbury

Applicants must have lived in the South Island north of the Waitaki River for the last 12 months and be likely to experience financial hardship in tertiary study.
