Hey everybody, Elizabeth Kula and I, Brianna Woodley, are your Junior School prefects for 2017. We are incredibly privileged to have been given this opportunity and can't wait to see what 2017 has in stall for us.
As the Junior School Prefects, our job is to help drive and motivate the year 9 and 10 students providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in the junior school. We aim to help get students involved in school activities/events so that they can feel more comfortable and happy in the MGC community.
In 2017 we will be running lunchtime activities, helping with the Tuakana Teina program, hosting the Dance Festival, leading the Year 9 and 10 Leaders Committee and organising the Combined
Colleges Junior School Socials. This is a great chance for the juniors to get involved with the school and meet new people as well as improving their leadership skills.
This year we aim to create an integrated junior school which will help set them up for their life in the senior school. This will help students to familiarise themselves with each other and build a sisterhood with the other students at MGC.
