This year in the Community Relations Committee our big focus is going to be World Vision.  We would like to get everyone involved in fundraising and in the 40 hour Famine.  Also with the Christchurch earthquake, we would like to do our part in helping the Christchurch community in any way we can.  A big part of our work this year will be based around getting girls' involved in helping throughout our community with organisations like the SPCA and the Salvation Army.  Organisations within our community really need our ongoing support so we will be working alongside them this year.

Another important role that we have as Community Relations Prefects is organising the Senior School Leaders.  We have a really great bunch of girls in that committee this year and we have a lot of high expectations from them.  We will be giving these girls a lot of leadership roles throughout the College and community this year which will hopefully help prepare them for leadership opportunities later in life.
