Welcome back for another year at MGC.  I hope, in conjunction with the Environment Council, to change students' attitudes towards littering in our beautiful school. Each form clas is allocated an area of the school for one week each term to keep clean. But wouldn't it be great if we kept that rubbish off the ground in the first place!

In Term One we want to get the Paper4Trees scheme running more effectively in all classrooms and we want to get more involved in our Enviroschool challenges. We are working towards attaining our silver badge. We want to make Marlborough Girls' College a more sustainable and enjoyable place.

2010 is going to be a huge year and my advice to you is to work hard, keep an eye on these notices and most importantly, get involved and enjoy the year.
