Tasman Secondary School Touch Tournament: MGC Senior team qualified for the South Island Secondary Schools Tournament after finishing in 2nd place , losing to Nelson Girls in the final. Pool play results : vs Nelson Juniors 6-0; vs Waimea 2-0. The Junior team also competed, defeating Nayland College 7-2 and Garin College 4-0 but fell to the Waimea Junior 1-9 in the final.
Tasman Secondary Schools Tennis Tournament: On a day marred by rainy weather and venue transfers, MGC A defeated Motueka 6-0 in the first round but then lost their semifinal narrowly to Nelson Girls 12-10 in a tiebreak after games scores were all tied up at 40 all. The B Team defeated Nayland 6-0 in the first round but were well beaten by eventual winners Waimea College 6-0 in the Semis.
Meridian South Island Junior Rowing Champs: Our crews competed in this regatta as a build up to the (Maadi) NZSS Champs with some excellent results. 1st placings to the U18 Novice 4+, U182x, U18 4x+ and U18 2-; 2nd placings to the U18 8+,U18Liteweight 4+ and 3rd placings to the U16 8+ and U164+.
