Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association is an important part of our community. The meetings are an opportunity for parents to hear first hand from the Principal, Board, Staff and Student Representatives what is happening in the school. They are also an opportunity to ask questions of the Principal and to get to know other parents who are keen to have input into their daughter's school.
PTA funds come from: the Marlborough Girls' College Uniform Shop sales, PTA donations and fundraising projects. These funds are used to support your daughters' school activities inside and outside the classroom
PTA Donation
There is a $5.00 donation per student each year, which is invoiced with the school fees.
Meetings
The PTA usually meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the school staffroom. For exact dates, refer to the school calendar. We often have a guest speaker prior to our meetings, followed by the meeting itself. The meetings are informal and last approximately two hours.
