Principal's message

Komiti Māori

Kia ora kōhine ma! Kōmiti Māori is an interest committee that is for any student with a passion and a drive for Te Ao Māori, the development and well being of Māori students and the passion to incorporate change for Māori throughout the kura.

Being apart of this committee allows you to have a huge say in what goes on in the kura, whilst giving you the opportunity to have a positive impact on the school community and the wider community.

You get to have your ideas and opinions heard and acted upon, attend fun activities, weekly meetings and get to have a lot of delicious kai!

Nau mai, haere mai! Kia mau te wehe!

International Short Stay Groups

Marlborough Girls' College welcomes enquiries about short term group visits to our region.  Group visits can be anywhere from one week to five weeks.

We are flexible and able to accommodate a range of options for any visiting group of international students - these may include:

  • Academic focus
  • Academic and Activity focus

All international students are placed in safe and supportive homestay environments which meet the requirements of the Code of Practice for Pastoral Care for International Students.

For shorter stays of 1-2 weeks all students are matched up with a buddy during their visit and they attend classes together.  If individual students have particular areas of passion, we endeavour to match them to a buddy with similar interests.

For longer stays of up to 5 weeks, all students are provided with their own individualised timetable allowing full integration into the New Zealand secondary school experience.

Noel Leeming - BYOD Offer 2016

Please find below a Portal link for ordering a BYOD device through Noel Leeming should you wish to use this supplier.  Note the Portal is always active and prices will reflect the “best price” at the time of checking the Portal.

This link also provides options for accidental damage cover which, although adding a cost, may save some later costs. However, this is purely at the buyers discretion.

Currently the NL Blenheim store are hoping to have a partial area available for the Parents to collect and pay for their child's device if they choose the “pay in store on collection” option for delivery.  Collection will be from 1st December 2016. One of the Team will contact Parents if they are ready earlier.
