Ko te kai a te rangatira he kōrero – The food of chiefs is dialogue.
Kia ora koutou
As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding term, I want to take a moment to thank our hardworking staff for their dedication, care, and tireless efforts. Your commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences and supporting our students every day is deeply appreciated.
To our rangatahi – thank you for the energy, enthusiasm, and heart you bring to our kura. Your efforts in the classroom, on the stage, in sports, and in service to others all contribute to the positive and vibrant culture we are so proud of here.

A huge congratulations to Māreikura Nepia for her outstanding success at the national Ngā Manu Kōrero competition. Competing in both prepared and impromptu senior English and te reo Māori is an incredible achievement and a testament to her talent and determination. Congratulations on winning E tipu e rea – the highest aggregate score in both English and Reo Māori! We’re incredibly proud of you.
We also warmly welcome our three new Board members and extend sincere thanks to all eleven candidates who put their names forward to serve our school whānau. Your willingness to contribute is a reflection of the strength and unity of our community.
This edition of the Bulletin is filled with fantastic stories of student successes and celebrations — in class, in competitions, in leadership, and more. We are incredibly proud of all our students.
Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and well-deserved term break.
Ngā manaakitanga,
Mary-Jeanne Lynch
