PPTA Strike Action

I have been informed this morning that teachers who are members of the PPTA will take part in a partial strike on Monday 15 September.
This means that PPTA members will not teach or supervise students in Years 12 and 13 on Monday 15 September, but will continue teaching all other students and carry out other administrative duties.
Students in Years 12 & 13 will need to stay home on Monday. The school will remain open for all other students. All EOTC events scheduled for next week will go ahead as planned for students in all year groups.
The PPTA has also proposed further partial strike action which may impact the following year groups next week.

These partial strike days have not yet been confirmed, however I will let you know as soon as I am informed if these are taking place.
We appreciate your understanding during this time of industrial action. I trust negotiations progress favorably over the next few days and that further strike action can be avoided.
