Strike Action confirmed

Following the communication that was sent out last week, I have received confirmation that both the PPTA and NZEI strike action will go ahead this Thursday 23rd October 2025.
The number of staff that are not PPTA or NZEI members (including support staff) is not enough for the school to operate safely. Therefore Marlborough Girls’ College will be closed for instruction on Thursday 23 October.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this period of industrial action. We do hope a resolution is on the horizon.
