Our purpose is to develop young women who are independent learners with the skills and attributes to tackle existing and future challenges, to make our community, our nation and our world a better place. The school community works together to challenge and empower everyone to learn and achieve their personal best.
The symbols for each of our uara have been designed around raranga – the weaving of strands of harakeke. This represents weaving together the threads of people to create a supportive community within our kura. It also acknowledges the history of the Wairau and that part of our site which used to be a flax mill.
