Pink Shirt Day

Saying No to Bullying

Every year Marlborough Girls’ College celebrates Pink Shirt Day. Traditionally held in May, Pink Shirt Day is all about standing up for ourselves and others around us. It is showing manaakitanga in our actions and words.

Established in 2007 in Canada, Pink Shirt Day is now an international phenomenon, and the school comes alive with colour for one whole day. Gold coin donations from students and staff go towards funds to helping support our rangatahi and their whānau.

In 2021 we raised a total of $xxx.xx while still having a lot of fun remembering the importance of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga in our day to day lives and interactions.
