Hello, kia ora, greetings!

I am Judith Hill, the International Students Director for Marlborough Girls’ College. In this role, I oversee our international students’ education programme, provide support, and help them to navigate their experience in our school and community.

Born in New Zealand, I have spent 30+ years based in Southern California, where I was mostly self-employed in marketing, and business-development for international aerospace companies. This activity took me to many countries in the world and I enjoyed getting to know cultural nuances between peoples. I am currently a candidate in the Master of Professional Practice programme through Otago Polytechnic, and I have a four-year undergraduate certificate from the Ayn Rand Institute in California, where I studied philosophy, psychology and communications.

My passion for aviation brought me back to Blenheim, NZ. I worked at the Aviation School, a division of the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) in a support role managing pastoral and academic guidance for international students. I am committed to help our next generations experience the success and self-esteem which comes from meeting the challenges of life-long learning. It is a privilege to engage with the rangatahi (students) who step up to these challenges as they experience their international learning journey here at Marlborough Girls’ College.
